Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a great way to involve your kids and family in reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every fall leading up to mid-November we collect Christmas gifts that are packed into special shoeboxes. Samaritan’s Purse delivers these shoeboxes to many 3rd world countries. They add appropriate children’s materials that will explain the true meaning of Christmas in the children’s language. Every child that receives a shoebox is given the opportunity to enroll in a discipleship program called 'The Greatest Journey'. Many children who participate in the program learn to follow Jesus and share Him with others. As they do, entire families and communities are transformed by the power of the Gospel and churches are planted.
